Topics will include sensation, perception and intuition; creating movement experiences for embodied knowing; and reflection practices. The content is organized through a model for embodied knowing that helps us bridge Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis into the wisdom of our bodies. We will also explore a variety of forms and practices that we can use in our work with clients to help them develop their own Embodied Knowing.

Moving Our Selves: Transgenerational Impact and the Shape of Change –
a workshop with Joanna Brotman & Katharina Conradi at 18-20th of August 2026
You will be able to sign up for this Master Workshop will be able soon
Moving Our Selves: Transgenerational Impact & the Shape of Change
Moving Our Selves is an application of LBMS designed to support self-knowledge and growth through a study of one’s own movement tendencies. It uses a unique graphic representation process that reveals the relationship between the parts and the whole of one’s patterns and illuminates the correlative and associative aspects of movement and personal meaning.
This workshop focuses on how we are shaped by the histories of those who came before us. What is transmitted through family narratives, cultural myths, and unintegrated experiences? What have we inherited and how can we reshape our responses to support greater choice and fullness in our lives? We will engage memory and imagination – moving, writing, and drawing – to creatively embody the unique trajectories of generational material and our adaptations to it.
This workshop will be lead by Joanna Brotman & Katharina Conradi

The Space Harmony of the Human Body: Our Design in Action
a workshop with Karen Studd at 26-28th of February 2027
You will be able to sign up for this Master Workshop soon
In this workshop we will be deepening the Body/Space connection. We will begin through exploring the space of the body. The Space of the Body Content and the Space of the Body Container.
We will access the Space inside us when we move – – the space as it relates to and defines our content our Innersphere Space. Then we will also move from the perspective of the 3D space which defines our form linked to the width, length and depth of our body’s design.
We will continue next to explore the space that our actions are contained within. This is the space that our body’s form can access through its actions. This is the Space we identify as our Kinesphere. We will draw upon the Spatial Map created by Rudolf Laban but also explore new territory and expand our understanding of the space of the Kinespheric Space.
Last we will address how our shared space – the Generalspheric Space – is the Space of human interaction.
In all our explorations we will find the boundaries of Space, the choices, limitations and possibilities.
